Challenging Oil and Gas sites

The Problem

Every day in the oil field has the potential to be challenging. The “roads” are constantly in need of improvement, and the unique safety challenges of the industry mean that we are often carrying gas detectors and escape hoods to avoid dangerous gases and allow for a safe exit when needed. Even the less extreme locations will have tough access in remote locations and the risk of being caught out in nasty weather.

The Solution

Summit’s team is familiar with the remote parts of western Colorado like the Piceance Basin, Grand Mesa and Grand Valley. We will hike in where necessary or use ATVs when it makes sense. Some of our inspectors grew up riding dirt bikes, and hunting and fishing the areas they are now inspecting. In fact, some of our inspectors have been known to travel with a fishing rod in case the perfect condition present themselves around their lunch time…We love these remote sites and welcome the opportunity to help you with your challenging projects.
