At Summit, we provide drone mapping and environmental services to support construction, land development, oil and gas, and infrastructure projects across Colorado (and beyond). From the Front Range to the Western Slope, our team works where our clients need us. We have two offices in Colorado – Aurora (Front Range Team) and Grand Junction (West Slope Team). We deliver accurate site data, reliable stormwater compliance support, and practical solutions that keep projects moving. Whether it’s aerial mapping, SWMP development, or SPCC compliance, we focus on providing clear, actionable results that teams can use in the field and in the office.
Our Core Service Areas in Colorado
Front Range (Denver Metro, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins)
As the Front Range continues to grow, we support projects along the I-25 corridor, extending into southern Wyoming and across eastern Colorado. With a high volume of active construction, much of our work in this region focuses on stormwater compliance, including routine inspections, SWMP management, and permitting support. At the same time, demand for drone mapping continues to increase, and our Summit LiDAR team provides aerial mapping and data solutions to support evolving project needs.
West Slope (Grand Junction, Montrose, Rifle)
Our Western Slope operations are based in Grand Junction, allowing us to efficiently support projects across this region, even into Utah. Here, we commonly work on large-scale land development and oil and gas sites. While we provide the full range of environmental compliance services, there is a stronger demand for aerial mapping and LiDAR surveys due to the size and complexity of these projects.
Mountain & High-Altitude Regions
Both our Front Range and Western Slope teams support projects in Colorado’s mountain and high-altitude regions. These sites often present unique challenges, including extreme weather, seasonal access limitations, and difficult terrain. Our team is equipped with the vehicles, tools, and experience needed to safely access remote locations and complete inspections and drone surveys efficiently, even in challenging conditions.
Do you work outside Colorado?
Short answer: yes! We primarily serve projects across Colorado, but we also support work in neighboring states like Utah and Wyoming. Many of our clients operate across state lines, and our team is equipped to travel and adapt to different project requirements, site conditions, and regulatory environments. Whether you have a single project outside of Colorado or multiple sites across the region, we can provide the same level of reliable drone mapping and environmental compliance support wherever your work takes you.
Why State Coverage Matters
Coverage across Colorado—and into neighboring states—means you don’t have to manage multiple vendors or deal with inconsistent data from one region to the next. With one team supporting your projects, you get consistent reporting, clear communication, and a unified approach across every site. Whether your work spans a single location or multiple states, Summit provides reliable drone mapping and environmental compliance support that scales with your projects. The result is better data, fewer gaps, and more confident decisions—no matter where your work takes you.
